As it should... This version is a hotfix to correct a crucial bug.

Venue List

To make sure this works you need to download the updated venue list provided here. I recommend installing the venue list in a separate folder directly in your Mods folder called: Basemental Venue List

If you already have this Venue List installed from the previous version of drugs you don't need to reinstall it.

Choose one of these 2 installation methods. Not both.

Basemental Gangs Installer (WINDOWS ONLY)

* If you installed from the installer previously, you can delete the old files by launching the file called unins000.exe in your Basemental Gangs folder.

Basemental Gangs Zip (WINDOWS OR MAC)

NOTE: This mod is an add-on to Basemental Drugs, and it requires Basemental Drugs to work. It also requires the Get To Work expansion pack.

They're probably the same file but I would advise you to download from the link on this post just in case. I'm not an official support staff member for Basemental, just a concerned user that tries to stay on top of MOD updates as best he can.

I also wanted to hold off but I had to tell you! I had a great idea on how to expand basemental drugs. For starters, once at level 10 for cocaine dealing, your high-level clients promote into high-level distributors, and now purchase whole cases of cocaine, and pick two high-level clients each of their own to sell kilos to. Awesome as the player would get to be a wholesale distributor just like the selvadorada dealer, being able to sell the crates! And this makes sense as the high-level clients have an amazing connection with an importer who has cases of cocaine straight off the boat, why leave them down just buying kilos at a time? Even better! You can expand this concept to each drug. Follow the simple retail, mid-level and wholesale model that you set up beautifully for cocaine. Weed for instance would look like this, The retail bags you already have, 1 pound bags which would contain 16 retail bags, that goes by "pack", and then a 10 pound bag that goes by "10-pack". This could allow for much more gameplay with weed! For instance, you could be a weed distributor, who makes a connection to a big grower, who sells you 10 packs that you can break down, and sell the pounds to your dealers! Or be a grower who starts from retailing your product yourself, to supplying your wholesale clients you've been with from the beginning with 10 packs and supplying the whole town! You could do the same with pills and amp! It would be an awesome way to unlock way more gameplay out of basemental drugs, and also. When you're a big cartel boss bringing in hundreds of kilos, it's nice not to forget your good kilo buyers who were always reliable! This would also combine with gang members being couriers. You could give your gang courier 10 ten packs of weed to deliver to the wholesale buyers, or your cocaine courier 20 cases of cocaine. It'd really elevate the gameplay, and you'd have control over the supply chain! Being a gang with hundreds of pounds of weed, kilos, thousand pill bags, and more flowing through your network a week! All you'd do to start is set up the quantity layers, and do high level clients at level 6 for each drug, and then promote into distributors at level 10! I would be really excited to see this complete, and I would come back for that update as a gold donor and donate extra as well!

I think people would really like this, especially since once you're a crime boss you want to have time to enjoy your new gambling mod!

Yes! I love that! But it's more like you're sending him out to push the product, rather than take care of your buyers. Since your high level clients still need to buy, and you can only send one man out at a time! What i'm proposing as basically assigning him as a distributor, he handles your deals and you kick him a percentage like 20%. For example, you'd assign a certain number of your retail clients to him, and then you could supply him with any quantity you want to give, maybe a notification when he's out of stock if possible. Also your right hand man could supply him for you once unlocked. I think maybe you could do after long enough working as a distributor he can graduate to a wholesale distributor, then you could assign your high level clients to him. (or they could just be assignable from the start, whatever you want the courier to do) The reason it's important, is since the dealers purchase every 24 hours, it's really tricky to nail the timing and supply them as soon as they are ready. It becomes a fulltime job. This would be cool, to give your distributor a weeks worth of cocaine, Which is 14 kilos. Then collect at the end of the week, saving you 14 deals worth of time! This way it saves the player time to enjoy other things, while still taking care of their clients!

Well that's more or less what you do already with gangs. You can send your gang members out with bricks of high quality cocaine / amph or multiple bags of weed and have them return with cash later

A good way to add to basemental gangs would be to be able to use gang members as couriers! It would be really cool to have your two mods work together, by assign our high level clients to our gang members and be able to actually use them in our drug business, either to import or distribute to our buyers, whether it's retail customers or high-level clients! This would make it where your couriers would be arrested instead of you!!! Like a real drug dealer lol! Years ago when I first discovered your mod, I assumed that's exactly what gangs was for, that you'd use your gang members as employees in your drug business.

I did, they said that it probably wasn't basemental at all. But now there is this update and also has to do with the calls so I thought maybe it was that all along. I'll try now with the updated version and see if it's fine now.

I cant see all of the requirements for a casino venue. i can see the required quantity and it being red because i haven't placed it. But the name of the item is blank. A couple of the names are there: Bar, Barstool, Toilet, Waste Disposal. Any idea what I have done wrong?

Will there be an actual update to gangs soon? It would be nice to have some new features

Might indicate something else being wrong in your mods folder as these errors would not trigger an LE, but rather not work as intended. If you are still getting LE's I'd advice you to head over to the Discord server for support. Link is at the bottom of the post.
