I miss those days but girl kids grew up. It’s ur show and u wanna plz everyone but I feel u have come along way from trying to plz everyone. It’s just not reality. Ur gonna be making a ton of changes when ur family grows. I’m lucky to be able to listen whenever I want…5 am was SO early but u made me wanna get up and get my day going. That’s really the whole point. If I had to do a day to day job, I’d vote the night before. 11:02pm TSS then 11:03 2nd notice. It’s oddly satisfying to get those . Here in TX that’s the times

I have 3 kids, a Dane, a Lab and 2 kitties. 16 yrs and a hospital Covid battle later… when I didn’t know if I was gonna make it home to my family…it was life-changing. I know ppl can “tell u things” but u have to really experience it. I have always been a go getter…hello, who wakes up at 5am and works out for an hr just to start my day off with my fav 2 co-hosts? Drop kids off and listen, pause, listen and pause. 3 hrs was ALOT but I loved every second! U have to be flexible with a kid. I’m SO ready for U guys to have one and ready for changes that will come ahead. Real fans respect that. I really wanna see ya’ll with a Bebe! TS ur NEVER ready. It just has to happen and u’ll be like wtf was I so scared of😝. I’m over ready for ya’ll. Never ever ever was a fan of wuzband 🤢. I love seeing u where u have taken ur career. Ur so great and now u don’t have to talk about Cosmo crap or do commercials on ur Patreon. I listen to y’all’s meaning u & Stassi’s podcasts so Idc. Worth it. HeY GuRL hey!!! For life. 2024-03-17 03:40:46 +0000 UTCSuch a great topic to talk about. My husband is almost 41 and his parents had him late in life. His mom is 80 and his dad is 83. It is so hard for him having older parents and a sibling that is 10 years older than him. But he does so well to adapt to all the changes.

A lot of the details of major stories have been updated or either run into the ground before TTSS gets to them ❤️❤️❤️

But honestly if people (kids) just did what was requested of them in a timely manner I wouldn’t have to nag!!! It’s all their fault! Jk- Lol! As for elderly parents you definitely switch roles and become the parent. I remember about a year before my mom passed really missing the wise and astute person she had always been. My only advice would be - cherish everyday you have with them and find humor in their crazy elderly behavior!

Not mentioned but highly recommend watching the documentary short film that won called “the last repair shop.” A nice short watch, especially for all of you fellow band/orchestra people lol. I’m an elementary band teacher and this was an easy yet emotional quick watch. Loved it.

We deal with daily comments like “is THAT what u are wearing?!” and you have to just stand up and say YES! We know its not her fault but it still hurts. But we dont look at her in a mother role…. We are her mothers. That hurts her but roles have to change.

I feel like the content is exponentially better when you’re recording day of. So. Even from someone who takes advantage of the fact that the pre-recorded shows are available immediately, I still prefer the day of recordings. 🖤🖤

When there are big news stories happening, I’m always disappointed that I can’t hear about it until a day or even two days later because of the delayed nature of this podcast. Tip for the morning listeners: maybe skip listening for one day and then from then on, listen to yesterday’s show the next morning!! That would work great.
