Beyoncé and Taylor Swift getting compared is a pet peeve of mine because in my opinion they couldn’t be more different and one has nothing to do with the other. Anytime Angel Reese or Beyonce gets brought up, it is immediately followed by people bringing up how they believe Caitlyn or Taylor is better because of x, y, or z. Unfortunately, when we (minorities) try to celebrate our wins, it is immediately met with a comparison to our white counterparts.

If Mackenzie and Taylor both want to speak on celebrity news and be even remotely considered as “influencers” maybe they should start actually doing some research on the topics they discuss and not just reporting headlines. I’ve never heard so much misinformation about pop culture than I did today listening to the two of them yammer on about JoJo Siwa and Taylor Swift. It’s almost like they’re competing to be the Fox News of pop culture.
