Anthrocon & Super 8 Project

Hello Everyone! I'm back from Anthrocon. I had the best vacation trip this year. But I was so happy that I got a chance to meet a lot of furs from the east coast at the con. Anyways while I was at AnthroCon, I brought two super 8 cameras to the con. Basically I made a con film on 8mm film. This week I'm mailing off those films to a company. So I can get the film developed and scanned. That way I can work on this project in post production. It really was fun filming the fursuiters at AC. But it was also my first time filming a convention on real film. Most people nowadays don't use old school cameras to film events. Instead they just use digital cameras or smartphones. Because it's quick and easy. Film nowadays is expensive. But I thought it would be a fun project to work on for my channel. This year I'm trying to do new and creative things for my channel. Because I want to support the art of filmmaking. This is an expensive project to work on.

Because I had to paid:

$50 for the Music Composer to work on the soundtrack.

$74.90 to buy 2 rolls of super 8 film.

$10 to buy 2 super 8 cameras from the Garage sales.

$235.98 Just to get the film processed and scan digitally

The grand total for all this cost: $370.88

I know. It's an expensive project. But it's something that I wanted to work on for a long time. But I'm glad I got a chance to work on a film project. Production quality content is something that I really enjoy doing. Also personally I want to thank my patreon supporters for helping me out on this project. When is the video project going to be out on YouTube?

Since I mail out the film to the company that develops and scans 8mm film. It might take 2 to 3 weeks for the company to mail back the film to me. After that it might takes me a few day or week to edit the video in post production. I know, It's a long process but production style content takes time to work on. But I'll give you guys more feedback on the project this month on Twitter Discord or patreon.
