Added 2021-01-03 06:13:08 +0000 UTChi everyone. i had to delay this update because i no longer work on shabbat.
this comic was also supposed to be several more panels long, with dupe opening up the wall beside the door, and slapping a label over the "2020" that says "2021" instead, then leaving in the opposite direction. cutting it halfway was kind of a "tail that can be dropped in self-defense" thing, although i did want to draw it. i just didn't want to delay it any more than it already is (and my back hurts from sitting at my desk today).
anyway, i started strattera a few days ago, and by the end of the month i will be at the max dose because my psychiatrist wanted to see if it would do anything for me instead of putting me on a stimulant. if it doesn't, i'll be seeing her around the beginning of february and, hopefully, resuming treatment with adderall. then i will be going off of it again mid-march to prep for surgery in april.
i'm kind of frustrated that it wasn't just what works right off the bat, because i feel like i've already metaphorically fallen from grace so much wrt my art and ability to be productive, but there's not much else i can do.
i'll put a poll up tomorrow for streams, and figure out a q&a theme at that point as well. i'll do an extra stream from last month's theme instead to compensate for the later poll.
