End of Issue 10

So page 129 will be the last page of Issue 10. Yay!  Now some things to keep in mind.  First things first, the above image is the Highest Patrons of Issue 10.  Normally I make the cutoff around 15 or so people, but so many people had the same donation totals, that I had to add more.  If your name is on that list and you do not want it there, or you want it changed PLEASE LET ME KNOW BEFORE SATURDAY AT NOON EASTERN TIME. (That's New York City time).  This page will go live Saturday evening. So I need to know ahead of time if you want that changed.

Now whenever we reach the end of an issue, I usually take *at least* a week off to get ready for the next issue.   I might need two weeks for the cover and to write the issue.  The reason the last two issues dragged out so long was from writing problems. I have an overall idea of what the story is in my head, but we don't do the specific writing ahead of time. And since Kaerwyn involves other people's characters, sometimes it takes longer than I want to get the writing done.  So I'd like to try to do this in advance or at least get started.  But rest assured that I will be spending that time working on the comic.

Character Cameos

In addition, Issue 11 will focus heavily on the town. That means you get your cameos. If you have a Patreon sub of $10 or higher, send me your description if you haven't already. Your character will end up in the Cameo Rotation.

There are some Cameo Rules though:

1. The more you donate, the closer to the 'camera' the cameo gets.  I do keep track of how much you've paid between cameo shots, so the higher that figure is, the larger your cameo.

2. I will not draw something that belongs to another person, entity, corporation, company, whatever unless I have permission from the creator or copyright holder.  This includes species. This means things like Pokemon, or monsters from video games.

3. This will be drawn in my style and what is fitting for Kaerwyn's general setting.  Kaerwyn is a nexus world, so almost anything will fit. But if the character has an appearance that makes them look super powerful, disruptive, distracting, etc, I can't put them in.  We can't have a background character appear to be able to conquer all the struggles of Kaerwyn's characters.

4. This is a rotation, which means your character goes up, and then goes to the bottom of the list, regardless of how much you pay.  Also keep in mind that some characters will not fit in certain scenes, if you have a large character and it's a small scene, it's not going to make it in. You might get skipped for more convenience characters.

5. Markings, Gear, etc on characters may be dumbed down so they don't take up too much time to add.

Some Stats:

Issue 10 brought in $7796 from 90 patrons overall!

That's about $60/page.  That's not bad. It's definitely not what I would charge for a comic, but it's pretty damn good for drawing my own thing!  So thanks so much everyone for offering me your hard earned money so I can continue making the comics.
