Would you switch to my own subscription setup?
Added 2017-12-11 02:26:30 +0000 UTCI am looking into an alternative to Patreon right now, by setting up my own CMS with a paywall/subscriptions. The ones I am specifically looking at using mostly use Paypal, with Stripe being potentially available - but basically I would, at no point, have your payment/credit card information. I don't want it. Security is something I worry about and I know I wouldn't be able to handle that. So that said, would you be willing to switch to a paywall on my own site?
Since the site will use Paypal and/or Stripe, I will set the tiers have I have them here and you won't have to pay any fees other than what maybe Paypal and Stripe charge (Though I think all of those are on my end so you shouldn't have to worry about it).
I am very interested in your thoughts, concerns and suggestions, so feel free to post.

I added +$1 to my pledge amount, will consider jumping to another platform if needed too.

2017-12-13 08:48:02 +0000 UTCRight now the people that make Commiss.io are going to make their own subscription service like Patreon. Kickstarter has one in the works called Drip. Neither are available right now, but I probably will be signing up for both to give an alternative to Patreon. I'm very pleased with Commissio's handling of it. The guy in charge/owner? is asking for suggestions on discord: https://twitter.com/Commissioapp/status/939234140183937025

2017-12-11 15:23:17 +0000 UTCMain feature of Patreon for me was "charge it all at once, one charge, once/month" Now? they are going to drop that unless things change. For sake of clarity, I don't want 60 to 80 separate charges/month. So yes, It's not so much about money but.. convenience (and said all at once also would minimize the transaction fees also.) Long story short, It's still waiting game for me and IF I can find different site that allows batch charges, that would most likely be it.
