I am back! (And moving forward)

Just to let you guys know, I will be taking this week off to finish off what I started in regards to the next issue. Really I'll be using it to start working on the comic and try to stay a week ahead, that will give me more time per page to complete it.

Some good news: I will be livestreaming commissions again on a more regular basis.  I haven't finalized how this will work yet, but I'm going to give certain tier Patrons, first dibs on stream slots. (Edit, I had to change this, sorry. It wouldn't have worked out otherwise). I might make it so you guys are the only ones that can pre-pay for slots, possibly 1-2 patron slots, and 1-2 non patron slots.  Everyone else will have to hope they get picked for a stream slot where as you guys can just get one at your leisure.

Also, if I'm not doing special discounts, some of you guys will get a commission discount (based on  your tier) if you get livestream slots.

Some bad news: Some of you know this already as I've been whining about it for the past few weeks.  My taxes went up. And by 'went up', I mean they doubled. My pay sure as hell didn't double so I don't know what the hell is going on (Yes, I hire a CPA and yes, I trust him).  I don't know if this is the new tax plan at work or what, but the facts remain that my taxes doubled and my income did not.  So I have to make an extra $300/month just to pay my taxes.  I barely break even now on taxes, rent, utilities, insurance, etc. So this is going to hurt, a lot. This means I have to fill every commission slot available in the month plus the livestreams to make it.  Now, I used to take a week off of doing commissions so I could do patron sketches and BT.  I don't have that option anymore, they have to be for commissions now.  That, I think is the logical first step. So in order for me to do BT regularly, I need $300 more a month. So I think that goal will be set at $1200/month instead of $800/month. Alternatively I'd have to drop Kaerwyn down to 2 updates a week, and given that the coming issue is the one I've been waiting for, that's not an option to me.

So going forward, it looks like my schedule will be to do Kaerwyn on M-W, Commissions Th-Fri, and Livestreams every other Saturday.
