The Upcoming Week

As I mentioned, things are going to get pretty turbulent for me in the coming weeks.  The good news is, I've already had my main bit of surgery done (Some of you probably realized I was pretty out of it on Wednesday. That was the day).  I was told that the initial estimate for work was the worst case scenario and it was actually easier than they thought. So it was $500 less than they expected.  That was nice.

I'm still going to be about $3k in the hole when all this is said and done. But don't worry about that, I know I can probably get that paid off within 10 months if I do some extra work.

Now as for the coming week:  Remember how I said our apartment owners have gotten super intrusive? Well the more the manager talks, the more I think that our complex was either sold to another company, or they were nailed with some negligence issues and now they have to make up for it. That's why they keep coming into everyone's apartments to do 'inspections' and whatever.  Well starting Tuesday, they're working on my building to change all the sprinkler heads. All of them. We have 17 in our apartment.  They sent us a notice saying that they might be in and out of our apartment for the next 5-7 days (Originally it was 1-2 days). But considering they also said that this work would be complete in August, I guess it explains why they added more time.

The problem is that I work at home and this is going to directly affect my ability to work.  You will get your three Kaerwyns for the week. I don't know when you'll get  them.  I'm actually going to work on the first page tomorrow, the second page on Monday, and try to sketch out the last page on Monday. I'll try to get that third one done as soon as I can before Saturday.

And then the other situation is that I am moving starting in November.  I intend to take November off of working on the comic because we'll be packing, moving, unpacking, setting up the utilities (including the internet), and having some repairs done that the former house owners didn't take care of.  I'm not sure how long it'll take to get internet installed. We also have to buy some stuff we need, like furniture.  Anyway, we're going to be super busy.
