So like on the last page, these guys are speaking Xa-Amaen. I'm not terribly familiar with how other comics do foreign languages. Do I need to put the little "*Translated from Xa-Amaen" box on every page do you think subsequent pages don't need it?

Yeah, seems like other comics just do a footnote on one page, then assume readers understand what the angle brackets signify thereafter.

2020-03-25 00:33:10 +0000 UTCThe standard comic device to indicate a translated language is triangular brackets . Once it's established what that language is, you don't need to say so again.

2020-03-25 00:13:33 +0000 UTCDo you read Two Kinds? That comic has a really good way to indicate subtly which language is being spoken, granted, that comic has a lot more language dynamics involved in it than most other comics you see.
