2024-10-17 22:15:18 +0000 UTCHi Cindy - There's not much change for subscribers, as you'll still get 5 shows a week. The shows are also at least an hour, so you won't be getting any less content. We made these changes to streamline the brand and also we're now able to share portions of the show outside the paywall which will help us grow the show and community. For now, part of the deal with Dear Media is that we'd include the ads on Thursdays. Unfortunately it was a non-negotiate to get the deal done, but we fully intend on all days being ad-free once we prove to keep the numbers up! The Friday show is only on Patreon. Let us know if you have any other questions!

Will continue to subscribe and listen daily, but not sure I understand the upside of this change for subscribers. We get less content, shorter shows and one day with ads? Can someone please explain to me what I’m missing. I’m not going anywhere, love Tay and love the show, but don’t get the upside of this change to anyone but Taylor who can double duty her content. Ok, new ‘ art’, but so what.

TS & TD people struggle financially and this was my escape and this is just sad for people who have supported you and paid to listen to you. I haven’t been able to work for over a year for health issues and you were my escape but now this. Also, saying if we cancel we have to pay you more to come back. What happened to you? Heartbroken and I have met you in person and really looked up to you. So many people supported you after you got fired. Consider supporting your loyal followers.

Yes, technically the price didn’t go up - but since the amount of content has gone down 60% since I joined (10 hours a week less 5 hours for the cut in half less 1 hour free to the public = 4 hours of content), the price did go up for what we receive. I understand it, but this is rather disappointing.

2024-09-27 23:56:36 +0000 UTCAll of you peoples on here complaining let’s just talk about something Taylor won’t. It is expensive to run a business. Inflation has caused businesses to eat cost that before they wouldn’t have had to. We do not pay credit card processing fees - that’s anywhere from 2% - 5% (depending on volume) of her revenue. That's anywhere from $0.34/ transaction to $0.13/ transaction (for $6.99 tiers); or, $0.50/ transaction to $0.20/ transaction (for $10 tiers (which I’m sure you’d also complain about if it were included in your transactions)). Taylor does not have to pay them - they are choosing to not pass them on to us. Zero idea what Taylor pays her co-hosts - but let's say it's 10% - 20% of each show they do (or something like that for simple math's sake). Her take-home ends up being around probably $3.50ish - $7.00ish (depending on the tier per subscription). Other podcasts charge anywhere from $5-$25+ for one to four shows a week with some having commercials. So, in conclusion, please, stop with the drama theatrics and support her or get off the boat. This is a phenomenal show with content that is worth more than what you or I are paying for it. Hugs and kisses.

Which is fine, but charging same amount for what was 10 hours of content, decreased to 5. A change in time on Mondays to an afternoon release and now the podcast on a Thursday rather than the ‘daily’ show- there should be a decrease in cost to subscribers.
