Additional Comic Shorts
Added 2021-05-08 14:49:22 +0000 UTCI've been thinking about some extra things I could do for you guys, my patrons, and I had a thought about making some "Comic Shorts". No, I'm not talking about an article of clothing.
Before I go on, this will probably be on the $10+ tier. Maybe the $5. I haven't decided yet.
Because Kaerwyn is an ensemble comic with a rather large cast of characters (Main and minor), it's sometimes difficult to get a lot of the smaller details in the comics. I've seen a lot of people ask questions about things that will never get answered in the main comic issues. That's when I thought about the 'comic shorts'.
So these will probably be uncolored lineart with the characters talking about things or doing things that would otherwise not fit in the main comic. These would be things that don't affect any of the main comic plots or anything. It might explain some questions that readers had about certain aspects or other things they were curious about.
In my ever present need to be as frank as possible, my only concern about this is running out of time to do it, and running out of content to draw. But I think it's worth it to give it a go once a month.
So my question to you folks is, "Would you be interested in something like this?" My second question is, "What are some things you'd like answered that these shorts might cover?"

There's a lot of potential with various characters' backstories and how the grand scheme of fate brought them together. For instance, how Gruff came under Sisari's thrall in the first place.

Does anyone ever complain about failure to do so? I recall a centaur character in the comic being transformed into a human, and being puzzled over the need to wear pants, since he didn’t as a centaur. If it isn’t too racy for Patreon, I’d be interested in what serious discussion, if any, has taken place about taurs and clothing. Dragons too.

I'm kind of curious about how Renard showed up on Kaerwyn in the comics, There's various minor stuff relating to town logistics and economics that I'd be interested in (though you may not want to pin down details yet). And who would not like to listen to Neek talk about Xarax-Hil political systems and history until the cows come home?
