The power to bend time, space and reality, but anything less than a macro cosmic level and they dither about what to do with it. Totally irresponsible and out of their depth with the 'mortals' they're supposed to be overseeing, and then acting all surprised when blindsided by said mortals' actions, tenacity and dumb luck because they can't be bothered to pay close enough attention. Guys, quick crazy left-field idea here, but instead of pissing about with people's heads and making it up as you go along, have you tried *getting to know them* a bit better? Or hell, even just TALKING to them on occasion on some level? You don't *have* to be all splendid and godlike about it. "Well Gruff tried that, and look what happened to -" YES! BECAUSE THEY'RE SHIT AT THIS!
