Added 2025-06-27 00:00:07 +0000 UTCThe first image is for Arrow, of his character Nathan who was turned into a "ratatosk" or something like that, (I'm sure he'll correct me). These are squirrel-like creatures from Nathan's world and it's said to be a big insult to be turned into one.
The second image is a non-anthro fursona image for Mutt, who is a black and white husky.
The last image is for JsideFox of one of his many characters, this one an uniquely colored African Wild Dog.

Based off of Ratatoskr, the squirrel that ran up and down the world tree Yggdrassil in Norse mythology, delivering "slanderous messages" between the unnamed eagle that perched at the top, and Nidhoggr, the dragon that gnawed on the roots. They're generally used as spies. It's not so much an insult to be turned into one as something that would be done out of spite, but Ratatosk life expectancy is much shorter than human, so there's a lot of incentive for the victim to play nice with the god who did it, because they might be able to get life extension. Additionally they suffer significantly of being one of the smallest forcemark races (being traditionally squirrel sized) and in a world built mostly by and around humans, that can be a problem.
