Important Update - Please Read

Hey all,

This is mainly a message to all my current patrons, that I will be unpausing the patreon, so you will be charged on the 1st unless you adjust your pledge. The plan at the moment is to use any support collected to pay for artwork for the next project. 

I've been in talks with a few artists over the past week to see who is available and interested in joining me on this new idea. And oh boy! I've had a lot of interest! It's been great (and somewhat stressful) talking to new artists and seeing their work. 

But I'm sure you  are all dying to know what the new idea is!

Kingdom of Subversion

A tale of two kingdoms, sets you in the middle to decide the fate of both. Outcasted from the Kingdom of Lumis, due to your half goblin heritage, you are promptly recruited by the Queen Selvana of the Kingdom of Umbrus. 

Selvana, a powerful mage in her own right has always had eyes set on conquering her neighbours. But the Kingdom of Lumis always stood in her way, defiant, brave and unyielding. Though a great military might in it’s own right, Lumis stands equal to Umbrus. If she were to attack, the losses would be too great to claim the neighbouring kingdoms, and leave her in a weakened state.

So a more cunning strategy is needed. A spy, to infiltrate Queen Roserra’s royal court of Lumis and weaken it from the inside. Unfortunately for Queen Selvana, her kingdom consists mainly of orcs, goblins and other unintelligent beasts. Though she has the power to morph people’s forms, she cannot grant them any extra intellect or charisma. The kind needed to see the downfall of Lumis. 

This is where you come in. 

Hurt and betrayed by Lumis for your exile, Queen Selvana brings you into her fold, revealing her secret plan. She grants you the form of a human, taking away your goblin heritage, and in return you would do her bidding. You will infiltrate and slowly corrupt the Royal court there. Bending them to your, or rather Selvana’s will. 

To gain access to the Queen though, you’ll have to gain the trust of her royal companions, former adventurer’s whom she travelled with and now trusts implicitly and each one will require their own tact and methods for convincing. 

But will you seek revenge and turn these women into your puppets? Or instead will you realise that maybe the royal court had nothing to do with your exile and instead fight to save Lumis from Queen Selvana’s schemes?

This game will focus on corruption of the Royal Court and other NPCs found within the kingdom before the final quest of corrupting the Queen of Lumis herself! Unfortunately for the MC, due to his half goblin heritage, when Queen Selvana morphs him into a human form he retains his shorter height.

As typical with what you've come to expect from me, the majority of NPCs in the game will be tall, busty and detailed female characters! I've started working on a unique battle system, that will be quick and deadly, but also interesting and engaging when it comes to boss fights. 

I have more to say about the mechanics, but hopefully I'll have a demo ready to show within a month or two!

Obviously due to my current situation (unemployed) I'm really relying on patron support to make this project a reality in terms of artwork. So thank you to anyone who remains pledged (especially in the current climate) and wants to see this project come to life! Without you this project literally wouldn't be possible!

I'll be selecting an artist this week, and will have something to show (a first bust of Queen Selvana herself!) I hope you are all looking forward to seeing it!
