Added 2021-09-02 18:45:23 +0000 UTCAfter a year and a half of talking with this cautious and tricky predator, I'm so happy to have confronted him as I honestly never thought I'd see the day. However, luck was on my side that day!
Edit > shortly after uploading this confrontation commentary video, I learned that this man has a wife and young children. It is truly sad how selfish these predators can be and my heart only goes out to their families which you could consider them as victims as well.

2022-04-06 08:47:16 +0000 UTClike he said, it's more about getting their license plate and identity than anything-- not an exploitative freak show or something. but I do sometimes see reddit AMA's about maps and they all get bullied into silence pretty much, say even therapists don't want to see them. it's a little sad they have no one to talk to who are not other maps pretty much, and even then their spaces often get taken down. I would think though, cornering them into revealing their life's story and what led them to this yada yada is indeed a little exploitative...the consequences if they are prosecuted should be enough. these are public videos after all, meant to explore how they try to entice children and teens into sex-- not their specific psychologies as individuals, which is far more complicated than can ever be conveyed in a sting operation.

If they try to leave say you want to talk with the police instead of me. You can always say I’m recording for my safety and yours. I see other predator catchors doing this and it lets them have long conversations with the predators and also usually stays non violent. Would love to see more convos with you and the preds. While I appreciate what they’re doing (I really do), I just get frustrated at how much of a scene they cause inside of stores. It makes me feel bad for management because that can be annoying to deal with on their end. Thank you for keeping it professional Zach, and keep up the great work.
