2023-01-26 23:31:28 +0000 UTCwould it be something under reasonable suspicion to abuse a child? i mean, yeah it is hard to convict people over this because the law can be super vague. in the early 2000s, japan tried to ban hentai and underaged looking characters under the guise of "animated cp" and unfortunately it got shot down. so it remained legal until even now. edit: forgot to add, there are so many scientific and peer reviewed studies that tell us that sexual addictions or deviancy in particular does inhibit decision making and impulse control in the frontal lobe. this means pedos buying child dolls could definitely lead to escalation. the reason we cant just do a study with a pedo and a child sex doll, one its immoral, two, each pedo is gonna be different too.

It is a complicated situation. Does it entice bad behavior, or does it help? Tough one. Ultimately, I don't see this as appropriate in any situation, as the majority of pedo's don't police themselves. So it's possibly just a temp. stand in till they find a real child to prey on. Let's just hope it saves at least 1 child.

Like if a pedo is actively trying to get better and he’s seeing a doctor, he should be able to do non harmful things, such as own sex dolls. They should be allowed to have a medical castration also. There should be extreme treatments for these people because their problem is extremely damaging to others. And anything that takes aggro off children is a good thing. I personally can’t stand most anime because a lot of it resembles hentai. And hentai is full of little kids. But it should still be legal. Because it’s taking some threat away from real children, just like sex dolls. Yes it’s all gross but anything that helps distract pedos from real kids is worth a try.

If society (manufacturers) gave pediphiles a "outlet", then we are sending a message that they're being understood and it's okay to fantasize about kids.
