Deserve*... I know your'e a stickler for grammer...

I havn't even watched this video yet, but I have 4 kids and desreve the RIGHT to know if they're in my hood!!

Andrew King

It is constitutional. That's the bottom line. The constitutional rights of one person that commits a specific kind of criminal act cannot be absolute relative to the constituitonal right of all other citizens that the government has to protect - otherwise the State fails in her duty to protect life. Sex offenders, perverts, chomo's, nonces have forfeited some constitutional rights. Most exemplary is the right to freedom. All punishments are in more or less degree unconstitutional. It is precisely the goal of punishment to take away these liberties that law-abiding, non-touching children pervert wonderpark inhabitants. (You all know what I mean.😌

I’m extremely frustrated with my country (Norway) with this. We have a sex offender registry, but the public can’t access/view it. Pedophiles can live wherever they want to as well. Only restriction they have is that they can’t work with children. And I’m assuming some limitation or monitoring with internet and tv. But that’s about it. Don’t get me wrong; I love how Norwegian prisons work with that the focus is on rehabilitation, not punishment. But when it comes to convicted pedophiles, rapists and animal abusers…man. They don’t deserve our prison lol. I don’t have children and probably never will (unless you count my dog haha. And super excited to be an uncle someday!!! I have five siblings, so it’s guaranteed), but just the thought of unknowingly exposing your child to a predator and not know about it….god. It’s so terrifying. Makes it so easy for them to re-offend. Convicted pedophiles and rapists have no rights for privacy imo. They signed that away themselves when they decided to ruin a life/lives for some sexual gratification

Thanks for including the sneeze. It makes you more personable, I suppose ha

Even if it isn't constitutional, I would still favor the sex offender registry as long as it isn't abused.

Im so sad this doesnt exist over here

The father of my first daughter is currently in prison for these kinds of things. And, no, I did not know of his past until his victim was brave enough to speak out years later, once she found out him and I were expecting my child. Him and I were only together 4 months, known each other casually for almost a year. I didnt know. He's been in prison since 2018 and will be for a long time. People like him showed me that it can be literally anyone. He has no criminal past. No actual run ins with police until they recognized his face off of a warrant and saw us walking down the street. Him being arrested for child rape was his first police encounter ever. I don't really give two fucks if it breaks constitutional rights to privacy, these monsters need to be exposed. He didn't look like your typical Chester. We lived in Portland, OR. So, very much typical hispter appearance. Attractive man. Stretched ear lobes to an inch, just like me. If you know that area, you know the vibe and the way people dress. I don't put these acts past anyone. It can be anyone. Even your best friend. He had a best best BEST friend of 12 years and one of 6, he also was in a 6 year long relationship when he was raping his victim for the 6 months that he did what he did. Not one soul knew of his deeds. No one but him, the child, and God. Expose abusers. Expose them. Make sure their information and faces are plastered. They feel like they can destroy lives and continue living in peace, I think not. The constitution isn't for criminals, its not there to protect monsters from what they've done. It could be anyone. Fuck privacy rights. You get nothing when you're this sick. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.. Lol. 😅😅

Thanks for reading my essay lol. Have you ever thought about doing a review videos of other predator busts?

The registry is straight up crazy.... Speaking of female sex offenders and the registry.. They are on there.. It is literally in our realtors informational advisory for home buyers. There is the link to a registry. Free and searchable and all. Able to search by "absconder" aka "someone who goes away from a place suddenly, especially in order to escape from it". There are a-lot of them too! This isn't like, "street crossings, homeless". This is like 56yr, F, White, Level 2 (Level 2, or Tier II, for offenders with a moderate risk of reoffending), Offenses: 14:89 - Crime Against Nature ((1) The unnatural carnal copulation by a human being with another of the same sex or opposite sex or with an animal), Current Location....... UNKNOWN!!! It cracks me up like well can we maybe get some more info about where they're at? I mean its a huge registry, and honestly, its the government. Not cutting edge in technology and efficiency. Megan's law comes to mind. Great idea, but needs more supplemental community and legislative support. No one wants to do this work it sucks. My observation, the local college town rumor mill is a more effective communication tool for spreading public advisories regarding locally alleged date or serial rapist, stalkers, or men who are known to be violent towards women. But that opens up a whole other world of issues, like false allegations, or misrepresentations of evidence, hearsay, that the laws and the courts can decrease via public scrutiny. "The law is reason free from passion". Good resources for verifying individuals or specific areas, but like many public disclosures, there is no legitimate comparable substitute to verify without a paywall. Having one almost gives off a sense of safety and security when there is not real guarantee from that. But if they are highly likely to reoffend? I sense it also puts it back on the community to "beware" of what kind of places we are at, where we live, who we are around, based off a "public" registry with a quarter of the SO that are more than likely out there, because uncharged, got off because minor status, never caught... We naturally have a sense of a person, and if we allow our feelings to, we can create a denouement of their intentions based off their words/actions/expressions. We need to keep using that "sense" around people because we can never trust facts alone, especially when it comes to children and their safety. I am judicial, but I don't necessarily disagree with Dr. Phil when he says "you need to treat these crime [against children] as guilty until proven innocent". The spirit of that being, if you have reasonable, even just a natural "pull" to keep your child away from people that give you bad faith, I say you just do what you need to do and keep them at a distance as much as you see fit. Can't say to your kids "I was giving him/her the benefit of the doubt." Are there people on there that shouldn't be, probably, just like there are people in jail who shouldn't be. What am I missing here. Am I being to black and white?

Looking into this from a different count*r*y this is a interesting topic and its very good that the usa has that.

Czech

Appreciate you. Yea those opposing arguments make no sense! Another attempt by MSM to make us feel sorry for a portion of criminals

EverElusive ReneeTaur

Bless you Zach! (You sneezed 😆) Unconstitutional? I don’t agree at all.. Maybe they shouldn’t be talking to minors in a sexual way.. they know what they are getting themselves into.. I’m so glad they have a sex offenders list and websites like family watchdog to make people aware of the sickos in our neighborhoods

Bree Dunnaway

GOD BLESS YA! LOL.

Rachel Marotte

Can you make a video addressing the recent purge against predator catcher accounts? I heard a bunch of Patreons and YouTube accounts are being removed.

Miles!

That is really cool. What country are you in?

Zach Sweers

In my county we DO have a registry for murders as well as arson. It’s called the “violent offender” registry.

Another interesting and insightful pod 👍 From a victims point of view, I was sexually abused as a child in the very early 1980s before these things even existed online. My abuser was convicted in 1983 and he was required to register/update/ect as a sex offender. I saw first hand how the registry evolved. At the very beginning, 40+ years ago, it was an actual book that you had to go to your local police station and look at, which my parents checked religiously. With the creation of internet/online registry/ Meghan's law/ect you could then go into a police station, use THEIR computer (sign something in-station that you would not contact predator) and then be able to look at registry. I did this as an adult for the first time in 2001. While it was a victory that his disgusting face and info was there for the public to see, it was a big time hassle to get to it since you could not do it from home. It was such a feeling of satisfaction when that changed and the information/public records were able to be accessed from your own computer. I can't remember the legislation but the voters voted for it so you did not have to go to the police station to view the registry. The public wants this information at their finger tips and at their own convenience. It was extremely embarrassing for me as a young adult to have to go into a police station to make sure the sicko who molested me a small child was keeping up to date in his registry. My parents could no longer check so I started to do it & go to the station and the first time I saw him on the computer I cried and felt like crap all day. It was another form of being victimized, just like having to face him in court. It made me sick to my stomach. Victims are now able to go through this registry at home & should be able to FOREVER

I'm a big fan of the sex offender registry having a friend that was raped by her boyfriend at the time and seeing how it affects her relationships with people and having had to "talk her off the ledge" a few times. I think it's a great thing people should know that some guy or gal that can affect someone's life for the worst at a young age is in their area and they should be able to keep themselves and their family safe.

Cameron O'Neal

You know those beware of dog signs? They should make sex offenders have one on their house "beware of pedophile".

Melissa lynn

They're talking about it being an invasion of privacy? What about the children's privacy that was invaded? I can't with these law makers.

Redox

As a Libertarian who deeply values the constitution.. once someone is identified as a threat to our children they should be put in a wood chipper registry. 🤷🏻‍♀️

BasedMom

Is it constitutional? Probably not. However, the great thing about the constitution is that it can be amended in order to make sex offender registries constitutional
