Video Schedule for June
Added 2016-06-01 17:41:39 +0000 UTCHi everyone. I just wanted to send out a quick update. I'm working on Tuesday's video...which is something a little different. It is a video essay (spoken word with accompanying video) that explores the thought experiment: "Would Alien First Contact Destroy Religion?" As weird as this may sound, a lot of religious studies scholars have written on this exact same subject. Many think that if we discovered intelligent extra-terrestrial life, humans would largely abandon religion. But drawing on recent scholarship, I lay out a few alternate possibilities.
Later in June, I'll be returning to the Ancient Christianity series with a video on the Gospel of Judas. By the end of the summer, I'll be trying hard to release a video every week, but as of now, I need to stick with the once-every-two-weeks schedule because my dissertation research sucks up most of my time.
