Week-in-Review: Baha'i Video Coming Monday

Hi everyone. I'm not going to lie...this week was one of the busiest weeks of my academic life, and I'm barely keeping up with my work. I have 18 papers to grade, daily grind work to do for The Atlantic, and near-endless meetings to attend before the end of the semester. Because of this, my YouTube schedule has slipped, and I apologize for that.

1). Baha'i video: I have a video on the Baha'i Faith coming out on Monday, and I'm aiming to do one on Zoroastrianism and Saturnalia before the end of December. My schedule loosens up on December 12 as soon as the semester is done.

2) Interview with the State Department: I was invited to give a talk about religious liberty and religious literacy for the American Center in Jerusalem...which is a public diplomacy and education institute run by the U.S. State Department. It was a bit of an odd experience. I've never had so much interaction with government officials, but I was able to say what I wanted. I was put together with an Israeli scholar who has a somewhat different perspective on religion than I, but I figured this was not a debate forum...so I didn't engage. I'd be curious to hear your responses to this as this was so new and different for me: https://www.facebook.com/AmericanCenterJerusalem/videos/454080878449521/

You mean when I was in Jerusalem with the State Department? I guess I've gotten used to it since I was studying there last semester. But yeah, I had to be hyper aware that my audience was a mostly Israeli audience during the livestream, so I tried to use examples that would be pertinent to them.
