四肢麻痺さんの記録①

山奥で倒れている所を発見されこの病院に緊急搬送されて来た。
高所の崖から転落してしまったらしく、強く叩きつけられた身体はひどい状態だった。
腕や脚は根元から砕けるようにして折れ、
頭蓋骨、首、背骨、骨盤など全身十数か所を損傷している。
まさに全身骨折といえる有様だ。
首の骨折で頚髄を損傷し、呼吸器と四肢に麻痺が出ている。
この先、首から下が動かなくなる可能性が高いらしい…。
気管を切開し、機械の力で何とか呼吸をしている。
喉に管を通され、頭から胴までロボットのように固定された彼女は、
完全に寝たきりの状態でベッドに横たわっている。
怪我のショックで記憶を無くしているらしく、
どこから来たのか、どうしてこうなったのか、名前すら誰も分からない。
動く事も喋る事もできないこの子は、これからどうなるんだろう…。
観察と介護の記録をここに記して行こうと思う。
