Long Overdue 2018 Update (Advance Q3 Torrent + Exclusive Preview)

It's been too long...

I apologize for the lack of updates to you, our most critical fans & supporters who ensure that we can continue our work; most of our staff has been hit hard by real life obligations this year and I've been busy myself finishing up a graduate degree (done) and doing research and development work on a new backend & API for OC ReMix.

As a quick aside on that topic, if you're interested in the technical details: we had done some initial work in 2016/2017 on getting quotes from developers to rework our existing system, and they were in the low five digits. That's $10K, which while we could afford, would represent a serious investment that carried substantial risk. I have instead opted to do this work primarily myself (uncompensated) and with limited hourly-rate assistance from others if and when it is needed. We have decided to utilize Python & the Django framework for this effort - incidentally, one of the creators of Django actually has a featured ReMix on the site: https://ocremix.org/remix/OCR01466 - we believe this choice will provide performance and functionality well into the future.

Okay, enough tech stuff... we recently released Seiken Densetsu 3: Songs of Light and Darkness, which was a huge undertaking, and followed that up with Candy Corn III: Direct to Video for Halloween.

• Arcadia Legends (Skies of Arcadia)

We've got an exclusive preview of selections from Hometown Heroes attached as a WAV file, courtesy album director DaMonz (Emery Monzerol) - it should be a mellow, comfortable, and cool little album! 

Chronopolis & Arcadia Legends are both sounding wonderful and the release packages are coming together, so look for them soon as well!

To infinity (okay, 2019) and beyond...

2018 has been a relatively quiet year for us, but we've used that time to position ourselves and begin development towards our larger goals, and we've still managed to post some great albums, a ton of great mixes, etc. What we haven't done is maintained enough contact with you, our supporters. We hope to honor the patience you have had with us with respect, progress, and more regular updates and perks for you.
