Pausing patreon until january (at least)

Hello, I'm going to be pausing this patreon!

As you might have seen me complaining baout elsewhere online, I've had a really bad inner ear infection that has been getting worse and spreading despite constant antibiotics. Since my eardrum ruptured at the start of november it's taken up my whole life. I'm putting my patreon on pause for december, and hopefully I will be able to recover within that time and prepare for things to resume in January. For those who paid for november, thank you so much and I'm so sorry this month made me unable to share anything. If I had known how things would go I wouldn't have charged for this month either.

My understanding of how this works is that Patreon will suspend payments for 30 days, so if you've just recently been charged you won't be charged next time, but if there are any questions or concerns I'll look into them. Patreon confuses me too!

My hope for January is to start posting early pages of Flying Saucer Video again. The outline for the series is very nearly finished, and a good chunk of the second chapter is sketched out. I'm really happy with how the outline is shaping up, and my hope is that having firm plans for this project will mean I can keep drawing it without big gaps once I'm healthy enough to do so!!

This whole process has been a cycle of "one more week of antibiotics and you'll be healed" followed by a week of getting worse and a clinic visit or ER trip. I hope December will be the moth where recovery finally sticks but obviously it's hard to say. If it doesn't work out, I'll pause the patreon again until I'm able to work. Sorry for a big serious post like this, but this has all been very demoralizing and not being able to share a single thing this month for the people who support me be to be able to draw comics is something I really regret, even if it was out of my control. Thank you all for your support, and I really hope I can come back swinging in January with some awesome comics 💜
