May's Monthly Update Post

Thanks for helping us stay above our first goal this month, folks! Our next goal is $1k, which may take a little while, but with us drawing more than we did before, we're pretty confident y'all will come through. c:

Pet Elf is now a Slipshine comic, which has always been out goal, really. I may have left its staff for various reasons I can't get into, but I never wanted to stop having my comics featured there, so we're happy that won't be the case. Pet Elf will update bimonthly on Slipshine, with the chance for a more frequent schedule or even new updates for our other comics like Doctor Voluptua if it does well enough, so hit that Slipshine  and look it over! And as a reminder, this does mean the comic has to be exclusive to Slipshine, so we can't post entire chapters even for paying Patrons anymore. Hope y'all understand! We are free to continue posting WIPs and promotional samples.

You Suck is still slated for a July release, probably in the middle of the month. Paying Patrons get to see the episodes as they finish, and indeed there's just the one so far. Basically we would like to get an 8-comic buffer going before we post it to the general public... that way, we can update it consistently at a weekly rate, even if things come up that make us unmable to work on it regularly, such as, say... game design work... or TCAF.

Speaking of TCAF, shout-outs to everyone who got to meet Teslakoi and FreeGlass during the show! Makes me realize I probably should have made this post beforehand, but well, timing is still one of the things I'm working on.

As for game design work, we're mostly referring to Outbreak Games and their Snow Daze project , another cool Patreon we recommend checking out. This is in fact FreeGlass's main job at the moment, because, well... compare their Patreon status to ours and I think it says all... They're a studio whose success we wish to duplicate, to say the least. Y'know... one step at a time. 

As for our own game projects, the li'l Wendy VN is coming along. Essentially I decided to compromise on things a little, and rather than give the game three full-size endings, it will have the one, but it will extend slightly depending on how you answer the questions. It's still bit of a daunting task, with 10+ full-frame art scenes as opposed to the 2-3 the previous updates had, but hey, we can do it! We're looking forward to seeing the attention it could potentially create when we finish and put it out there.

Polly is on the backburner, of course. But there's actually lots to say about it, so I'll save it for a different post.

And before I forget to mention it, we're planning to add exclusive studio update and how-to posts  for backers as well!

Thanks for lookin' out for us folks... Things admittedly started a bit slow this year, when it was still officially just me, but we're a team now, and we're keeping each other in check. There will be much in store for 2017...
