Bad news first: Pet Elf will not continue, and I don't really wanna talk about it. In fact just thinking about it makes me extremely angry, so let's just move on with the good news...
I 2018 I am going to be doing comics for Fakku. This'll be something I intend to sit down and do regularly, in contrast to 2016 and 2017 where most of my comic work consisted of sitting around trying to figure shit out. My artist page is here.
We're currently beginning with older works of mine that have been previously posted to Slipshine and elsewhere, and there'll be at least another month of that... but I do intend to follow it up with new stuff completely exclusive to Fakku. This'll start with short n' sweet comics featuring the three characters I just posted in these updates... Wendy, Skippy, & sometimes Mortimer. These comics will be pretty simple & sexy 5-page numbers that I can verifiably start & actually finish.
That doesn't mean I've given up on longform comics... I'm just taking a break from them until my audience & attention span can keep something more ambitious on its legs. If the Fakku comics do well, get lotsa comics and subscriptions, and get this Patreon's total back up to a good amount, then it could very well lead to continuation of some of those Slipshine comics I left hanging, and possibly even the big ones: Doctor Voluptua, You Suck, and yeah, Pet Elf.
As with all my recent comics I do need help from other artists to get these things completed. I do have one lined up to help me with the upcoming Wendy ones. I'll reveal who it is soon.
