I hope you guys stick with this! Completely agree the first few episodes have cringe dialogue but I personally got sucked in by the end of episode 3. Lots of interesting situations and discussions to be had about survival and morality. And the dialogue/acting 100% gets better.

The question of right and wrong in the face of survival is pretty much the foundation of the show.
