Hello!

Unfortunately, work on the new version is not progressing as fast as we would like. We still hope to release alpha in February, but that’s not for sure.

Basically, it depends on the fact that the new version will be built according to a scheme that differs from the previous ones. We already wrote that almost all of its size will be occupied by one huge event. Size matters too. We are not yet sure how many words will be in the code, but it looks like 25k+. This is actually a lot. The size of the very first version of this game was less than 10k words.

Now, regarding what has already been done. All scenes for the new version are already drawn. One of our artists was very busy with her studies, so not all new caracter's outfits for the new event were completed. But now this is a matter of several days. Also, as you can see above, we completely redrawn Rolf’s sprite.

The code is about 1/3 ready, and this is our biggest delay. We are doing our best, but it seems that the size of the new version is depressing our programmer :)

There are positive aspects to this delay too. In particular, most of the scenes will be animated in the alpha version. At least we hope so.
