2024-07-11 21:46:39 +0000 UTCFor that last scene, I had to go back a few times when I first watched it. Gaoshun gives Jinshi a list of names, identifying them as Fengming's kin and associates. Basically, anyone in the palace who had any ties to her and her family is on this list. Jinshi says that she was kidnapped and sold off. If you think back to when she became a lady-in-waiting, when they talked about her pay, she said that some of her earnings are sent back to "her family." So what Jinshi sees is that Maomao's kidnappers have ties to Fengming and as Maomao's supposed "family," she does, too. Honestly, it's mostly a plot device to set future events in motion. Don't worry too much about it like I did, lol! I can't wait for next week, it's one of my fav episodes!
