Hope you enjoy it. For what it does adapt, the Yona anime is actually a *really* good adaptation which makes it such a shame that so many years have gone by with no hint of more seasons. And like I said, it truly makes no sense, because it is a wildly successful manga in Japan.

2025-02-17 15:42:12 +0000 UTCIt doesn't necessarily need to be the child of the current dragon who will inherit the blood next, it can be any newborn child in the clan and is just kind of random, the same goes for the other dragon clans. Gija being the son of the previous dragon is just a coincidence. Also since this anime only adapts the very beginning of the manga and doesn't seem to ever be getting another season (which makes no sense because the manga is EXTREMELY successful), I would to see you do live manga reading videos once you finish the anime and see your reaction to the rest of the story :) but whether you do live reading videos or not I 100% recommend reading the manga. Some people have recommended watching the OVAs after finishing the main show, but I would say don't watch them until after reading the manga chapters they cover. Esp the second and third OVA eps, they cover a very important arc that isn't supposed to come until many arcs later and I believe it's best experienced in the order it's supposed to be in, you're not supposed to experience that arc right after the arc the anime ends with.

2025-02-16 23:58:27 +0000 UTCThe whole village has the blood of the dragon, however only one person receives the blessing at a time. It doesn't have to be the child of the current dragon. If Gija went off and was killed, another child would be born into the village that would receive the blessing. His granny just wanted to preserve the bloodline by having him get married and have kids.
