Hey everyone! Here it is - my reaction to season 3 ep 3 of Vox Machina!!! WOW, things got spicy! And also sad!!!! It was tough watching Key'leth and Vax, but even harder to see Vex and Percy finally get together only to like, not really get together?! And then Scanlan and Pike too?!?! Grog's got the right idea over here lol, no drama!!! Also, I knew that our new Draconian friend must be up to something right from the start, ugh! Kima better be okay!! Can't wait to see more! Enjoy! ~ MH

Oh wow, I can imagine how weird that must've been to do all the sounds LOL!! That makes a lot of sense in terms of the mechanics! Ohhhh that's why they're split, got it! That's interesting about Dola!!! I wonder if the character is a nod to the one you mentioned...!!

2024-10-25 05:01:40 +0000 UTCHey everyone. She thought THIS episode was rough. đ There is definitely a bit of a juxtaposition between Vex/Percy and Vax/Keyleth and how theyâre approaching the relationship thing, although to be fair, Vex didnât really give Percy much of a chance to screw anything up before diving in. Keyleth is exasperated on the other hand as Vax is still stricken with worry over the Matronâs visions. In her opinion, itâs all well and good but at some point sheâd like to actually live her life, too. It seems Vex was just looking for âstress relief,â and isnât willing to commit after her trust, which leaves Percy unsure how to proceed. I guess you could say itâs a very âvexingâ predicament. You are usually fairly trusting so it seems your spidey sense on Dolaâs betrayal was getting honed a bit. Remember, Raishan said that there was going to be no leeway as they had to return in two days, so theyâre not only in hell, they have to beat the clock. Considering that half the group is in Hell and the other is in icy Draconia trying to avoid Vorugaal (the dragon chasing them), I guess if we get out of this Scanlan might write A Song of Ice and Fire. Wait, no, that might be copyright infringement. đ

2024-10-25 02:14:08 +0000 UTCThis was another great and interesting episode. So the thing with Percy and Vex did happen, but I think it was a fade-to-black thing, they didnât act it out. The cast has talked about how weird and funny it was having to hear them act that scene for this episode though đ€Ł The whole thing with Vax & Keyleth kinda goes into the mechanics of the game. As a level 20 druid (max level), you age extremely slowly, something like you age one year for every ten years that pass. So assuming Keyleth reaches the height of her power, sheâll far outlive everyone she loves. So this seems like another case of what they did last season, splitting the party between fighting Vorugal and going to the Hells so the animators donât have to constantly animate at least 7 people at once. In the campaign they went for Vorugal and then went to Hell like right after. Iâm really curious about Dola, because Iâm pretty sure sheâs original to the show, I donât remember hearing anything about her before. I wonder if itâs as simple as adding to Kima & Alluraâs story or if thereâs more to it (in the game, up to the Briarwood arc there was an 8th party member who was a Dragonborn like Dola, who didnât leave on great terms with CR). The gang arenât ones to stir drama, but it immediately came to my mind when Dola turned.
