Progress Overview

We’re making solid progress on version 2.23! The main character (MC) will remain the focus of the next three versions.

In these updates, we’ll delve deeper into the relationship between Norah and the MC, uncovering her motivations and the mysteries behind her approach. Get ready for major revelations and intense moments!

To bring you up to speed, here’s a quick summary of what’s happened so far and what lies ahead:

• MC’s arrival in town: Our hero faced an assassination attempt upon arriving in the city. Disguised as a robbery, the real plan was to stage a latrocínio (robbery followed by murder). Fortunately, Samantha’s car passed by the scene, and in the commotion, the MC pushed the assailant, who was fatally hit by a passing car.

• Interaction with the police: After giving his statement and being released, the MC’s journey officially began. Samantha, the officer handling the case, found the situation suspicious, especially given its indirect connection to Norah, who always seems tied to questionable events in the city.

• Samantha’s motivations: Samantha has distrusted Norah since her father’s death, which occurred while he was investigating mysterious thefts targeting Norah’s competitors. This connection prompted Samantha to enlist Hank’s help to dig deeper.

• Intertwined stories: There’s a missing link in Dylan’s past that ties him to this investigation, but Samantha hasn’t made the connection yet. This part will be better explored in the rework of the prologue, where we’ll explain how these events are connected.

• Rising conflict: Samantha wants to involve Dylan in the investigation, while Norah seeks ways to maintain control and protect her secrets.

Upcoming Versions: What to Expect

In the upcoming updates, our focus will be:

• The dynamic between Norah and the MC, exploring the reasons behind her approach and her true intentions.

• Introducing a new character who will significantly impact the story.

• Developing Samantha, Matilda, and other characters, adding depth to the narrative.

Technical Updates

• Prologue Rework: Over the past three months, we’ve made great strides in the rework of the prologue. We’re still fine-tuning it, but we hope to release it soon. Our main focus remains on delivering fresh content to keep the story moving forward.
