DRESSED AS PADMÉ AMIDALA

Yeah… I am going to admit it. I am a huge fan of Star Wars and I think that I am not the only one out there. My name is John and I have been loving Star Wars since I was a little kid. And I have been loving it very much. Now, I am a 16 years old boy and guess what… I am still loving Star Wars and I have seen the majority of all possible Star Wars content. I have read almost every Star Wars book and also the comics. And I think that it is useless to say that I have watched animated series, of course. I was just a huge fan of the whole Star Wars universe and it was something which was really precious to me.

And luckily for me, my whole class at high school was loving Star Wars as well. We were doing several Star Wars movie nights and of course some sleepovers with Star Wars. And especially a very good friend of mine, Nora, was a huge Star Wars fan as well. We were capable of speaking about Star Wars almost the whole day and it would seem just like a few moments to us. And she was the same kind of nerd just like me. We were both reading a lot of Star Wars literature and we were crazy about it. And I was really happy and grateful that I had a friend who is the same nerd and who loves the same thing. And… I should also say that Nora was a very pretty girl and a lot of boys envied me, because I was spending a lot of time with her. But we weren't dating and… I cannot say that I didn't think about it… but I just didn't want to break the awesome relationship I had with her. It was too precious for me.

But one day… everything had changed. That day I overslept and I was coming late to school. It wasn't a big deal because we had an organization class and we were going to discuss events which our class should start up. And I wasn't aware of any ideas and the only thing I was loving was Star Wars and my resources are limited… so I guess that I couldn´t contribute in any way. But… I was soo wrong.

I came to my class and all my classmates were gathered around Nora and she was explaining something to the whole class. That was interesting… She was the same type of personality as me and her only hobby was Star Wars. And now… it appears that she is organizing a kind of event for our class.

“Hello!” I said when I entered the class. All my classmates greeted me and they smiled at me. But then… it was just Nora who had their full attention. But even Nora gifted me her tasty face expression and she told me:

“You are late!”

“Yeah… I just… overslept!” I admitted and I laughed. But why not. Everybody needs a good nap. “And would somebody explain to me what is going on?”

“We are planning a Star Wars day!” replied one of my classmates. And at that moment… It was like an electric shock to my body. A Star Wars day at our school? Here? That is SOMETHING! My eyes were glittering at that moment I guess and I immediately joined the discussion about it. And it was pretty much a long debate about everything and abou organizing the whole event. It wasn't easy at all and there were some important details which had to be solved. But we successfully made the base plan and everybody helped to make it happen.

After that, we had an art class and it was boring as usual. The teacher was just sitting there on the chair and he was reading a book to us. And you can imagine that nobody had listened to him. Everybody was on the phone and we were chatting about Star Wars day. I was sitting next to Nora of course and I was pretty much upset that I overslept today. I wanted to be part of the conversation from the beginning. I would have a lot of amazing ideas about Star Wars…

“Who came with the Star Wars day idea?” I asked Nora.

“Of course I did! Who else except you and me is such a Star Wars nerd?” giggled Nora and she was right I guess that nobody else would suggest this.

“Eh… I am sorry that I overslept… I would help you more with the prep of it!” I apologized and I was really sorry about that. But Nora was a very nice girl and she didn't make a big deal out of it.

“It's ok, I am not mad at you!” She smiled at me and we were discussing all the possible things about Star Wars day. But then it came. Of course a great part of this Star Wars day were costumes. It would be a pretty weird Star Wars day without costumes of Darth Vader or some Jedi cloaks. And I loved those Star Wars costumes. It was going to be such an epic event. Until…

“Well… I have been thinking about costumes and the stuff…” said Nora and I could see that she was going to say some crazy idea. “But I am not sure that you will like it… It's a bit crazy, but we would be the best and funniest Star Wars couple there!” You see? I said that she is going to say something crazy.

“Hey Nora… I am in! You know me and you know that I am willing to do anything for Star Wars and for you!” I said and I tried to be a little bit romantic. And it worked. I could see that Nora blushed a little bit and then she said:

“Well… I am glad you agree! So… the idea is… that we will reverse our roles. I could play Han Solo and you could play Padmé Amidala! Imagine how original and cute it would be. Imagine me as Han Solo with the blaster and with his hat and imagine you in a beautiful dress and makeup and of course wig! I have Padmé's dress at home and I think that you would look so cute and adorable in it!”

And that was it. I thought that it was going to be something crazy, but I probably didn't expect that it would be that crazy. She wanted me to go there as Padmé Amidala? Well… I have to admit that I love that character and she is one of the most beautiful women in the whole show, but… I am not sure that it would be the best choice.

“Ehm… I am not sure about that, Nora… Do you think that I would fit in your dress?” I asked. But the truth is that I was quite a small boy and Nora was the same size as I was.

“Of course you will! And you know what? We will go to my place right after school and we will try on you and I will put makeup on your face and a wig on your head… Let's say that I am going to turn you to Padmé Amidala!”

“Whoaa… That was quick! But… I guess… why not!” I said and I guess that I didn't have a choice. And I didn't want to protest a lot because I came late today and she could be pretty angry with me if she wanted to. But she was nice to me and I had to be nice to her as well. And after all… why not Padmé Amidala. I know that it is a bit controversial that I will be a woman and she will be a man, but it should be fun and I think that nobody else will do such a crazy thing.

Well… and as Nora said, we went to her place right after school. She was living quite nearby school and it took us just several minutes to get there. They had a very nice home and it looked very luxurious. She led me to her room and she said:

“Welcome to the Galactic Empire of mine, Senator Padmé Amidala!” Then she giggled and said: “Well… you have to become a Senator Amidala first… But don't worry! I will make you even prettier than the original Padmé in movies!”

“Well… okay! I am quite curious about it!” I laughed and I sat on the chair in her room. She brought her makeup tools and she started to apply makeup on my face. And she was really GENEROUS about it. It was quite a lot of makeup used and she said that I have to look like a pretty girl. But then it started. First of all, she gave me eyeshadow and then she used an eyeliner. She didn't forget about mascara, of course. Then she made my eyebrows and she used a red blusher on my cheeks. Nora was a makeup specialist and she crowned my new outlook with a bright red lipstick.

“Look at you! You have become a very beautiful lady, John! From now on, you will be my Padmé!” she giggled and she started to look for the Padmé Amidala dress. Of course that she owed one because she was a huge fan of Padmé and I get it. I was a huge fan as well and now… I am going to become Padmé Amidala. And of course that it was the most girly dress from Episode 2.

“Come one! Let's put it on you!” giggled Nora and she dressed me in it.

And I have to say that in a way… I was loving it. I loved the feeling… being pretty… being girly. And it changed me a lot. This Star Wars day changed me a lot!

“Awww… you really look like her, John! I am loving it!” cried out Nora and she gave me the wig and she handed me a mirror. And OMG… I really looked like Padmé from Star Wars and… I was beautiful… I was happy and this was me… I felt full. I felt complete. And I loved it so much! But this was just the beginning!
