MY NANA MADE A GIRL OUT OF ME - CHAPTER 5

CHAPTER 5

“Oh… what an amazing dance it was! I loved it!” giggled Jessica when we finally stopped. And it was horrendous. I was just catching my breath because Lilly seemed like a pro dancer. I just couldn´t keep up with her and truly… at that moment I didn´t care at all that I was wearing a yellow fluffy dress. I was happy that I could sit after that long dance and I was thirsty. I looked at the table and there was tea in the pot. But there was no mug for me. I was a bit afraid to talk to Jessica, but I took a deep breath and I asked:

“Please, can I get a mug? I am thirsty after dancing and I would like some tea!” I tried to be as polite as possible and it worked. Jessica just smiled at me and she said:

“Of course, sweet little princess! I am gonna get you a mug! You are so cute that I can´t refuse you!” she giggled and she walked away for the mug. When she was gone I looked at my nana and I whispered:

“I look like a princess in this… It was a bad idea to go to the church dressed in pink dress…” My nana was surprised that I said it. She obviously thought that I was just loving being a girl and that I love my new outfit.

“Oh… but you look so pretty in the yellow dress! Look, how shiny it is and the makeup which Lilly put on your face… it makes you really adorable my darling!” said my aunt.

“Well… at the very least you will try what it is to be a girl, darling!” giggled Eve and as I said before… She was the person who was enjoying this the most.

“But… I think that this is probably too much!” I said to my cousin Eve. “Okay… I would be okay with the dress. There was no other option for me. But the makeup and the crown? Really? I think it went too far, don´t you think?”

“Hmm… I wouldn´t say so. I like your new outfit and you are a very beautiful Belle from Beauty and the Beast! And come on… this is just fun!” said Eve and I hadn´t a chance to answer her because Jessica was coming back with the mug for me. And… I could see this coming. Of course, she didn´t bring a classic mug, but she brought me a pink mug and there was a Disney princess painted on it.

“And here is the mug for our Beauty!” said Jessica and she poured me the tea.

“Thank you so much!” I said and I was really thirsty so I drank the tea immediately.

“Do you like the mug?” Jessica asked me and it was such a bad question for me. I don´t know if I actually like the mug. She was treating me like a girl and I don´t blame her. She has no idea that I am not a girl. But it was maybe way too girly even for a girl.

“Oh… yes! Thank you!” I said again very shortly and Jessica could see that I am quite a shy person. But her plan was to break it and she didn´t stop asking me questions.

“So… you said that your favourite movie is Beaty and the Beast?” she asked.

“Ehm… yeah… I like it a lot!” I answered and I was just blushing and blushing. But fortunately, nobody could see it because of my makeup.

“I see! And I am sure that you loved the ending when the Beast turned into such a handsome man and they got married, right?” That was a strange question and I didn´t like it. Where this was going?

“Well… I guess…” I answered and I really didn´t feel comfortable at all during this chat.

“Hm… don´t worry! You will definitely find a handsome husband as well! Look at you! You are such a pretty girl and especially in this yellow fluffy dress! I just love your cheeks and face. It looks so cute and even the makeup makes you more adorable!” Jessica said and she was just fascinated by my outlook. Only if she knew that under all those layers of makeup and dress was a boy. She had no idea.

“Thank you!” I said again and I really had no idea what to answer.

“How long will be Jane staying with you here?” Jessica asked my nana.

“His… Ehm… I mean her parents didn´t tell me the exact date so I guess that she will be here for two weeks at the very least!” my nana answered and she almost revealed that I am a boy. My heart almost jumped out of my chest when my nana said: His parents.  But fortunately, Jessica didn´t spot anything and the disaster was averted.

“Well… I had an idea! That is why I am asking you!” said Jessica and when she said it I got really afraid. I was already afraid of her ideas and now when she even asked my nana when I will be coming home… I got really scared.

“Oh… and what idea do you have?” my nana asked her and it was going bad direction. I could see that my nana was excited about her idea and it means that whatever Jessica will tell her… I am doing it. It was like a nightmare.

“Since you have such a cute and adorable granddaughter… I thought that I could take her with my daughter to the city and we could enjoy there a “girly” day together. We could do some shopping, get ice cream and chat about girly things!” When she said it… I hoped that my nana would refuse this, but exactly as I thought so… my nana answered:

“That would be amazing! I think that Jane needs to make new friends and it will be a perfect opportunity to get to know you and your Lilly more. I would be really grateful for it!”

“Oh no! I am going to be grateful if I could spend a day with your adorable and cute granddaughter! Just look at her! Isn´t she lovely in this yellow dress and with the crown? I absolutely adore her!”

“She is! And thank you, Jessica, for doing this! It is such a good deed!” my nana thanked and I was just speechless. I am going to spend a girly day with Jessica and Lilly. And I just can´t imagine what such a girly day could be about. And I probably even don´t want to imagine it.

“Oh… you are too kind!” Jessica told my nana. “For me, it will be a pure joy to spend the day with such pretty and cute girls like Lilly and Jessica!”

“And when you are going to do it?” my nana asked.

“I would do it right tomorrow if you are okay with it. I am going to prepare it in the evening and tomorrow morning we could start!” said Jessica and it was obvious that she is so much looking forward to it. And did I look forward to it? Well… nobody had asked me about it and my nana decided it instead of me.

“Okay! That sounds good! I will bring Jane to you tomorrow morning! And we should probably be going now! We need to prepare Jane for tomorrow and it is getting late!” said my nana and we thanked them for the hospitality. I went back to Lilly´s room because I was still dressed in the yellow shiny dress which she lent me.  And I had her crown on the head and I just can´t walk away with those things.

I came to the room with Lilly and I could see that she was kind of sad because we were already leaving. And to be honest… I was sad a little bit as well… I created some kind of bond with Lilly and it felt sad to go away. And somehow… I didn´t want to change into my pink dress which my cousin Eve gave me. I loved the yellow I was wearing and I was still feeling Lilly´s perfume on it.

“I don´t want you to go…” Lilly said in her sad voice. I was feeling exactly like her, but I tried to be a bit more optimistic.

“But tomorrow… we will see each other as well and we are going to enjoy a girly day!” I said and I could see that it made Lilly a bit happier.

“You are right! I will see you tomorrow!” she said and she hugged me. It was such a nice gesture from her and it was a confirmation that she created a bond with me as well. Then changed the dress and I put on the pink dress again. And Lilly had an amazing idea and she put her perfume on the pink dress as well.

“I don´t want you to forget me!” she giggled and then I walked away to my nana and my cousins. We went back home and on the way, my cousins were so much happy for me because I will spend a special girly day.

“I can´t believe that you are such a lucky girl, Jane!” said Eve and she looked at me. “I would be such a happy girl if somebody would just take me on a girly day like you!”

“Except you are a girl, I am not!” I said … But…I didn´t say it in a very persuasive way. Was I even a boy right now? I was wearing a pink dress and makeup. Jessica and Lilly are still thinking that I am a girl.

“For them, you are a girl! And right now, for us as well” giggled Rose and she grabbed my hand. “Come on! You will enjoy it! Don´t worry! We will prepare you for your girly day!” Well… wasn´t I already a girl after all?
