I see that many have told you about the Make-a-Wish nature of this performance. However, I can tell you from my own ordinary pre-concert VIP experiences that there were 10 fans in the room, plus PTX and 2 or 3 staff members. We were seated so close that my daughter and I could have touched Avi without leaving our chairs. The song they chose to sing for us was "Valentine"--one of my favorites! Afterwards, they chatted and took selfies with us; they made sure that each fan had a couple of minutes with each singer. Mitch even (literally!) put his foot down and refused to leave when the staff called them away, because I hadn't gotten to tell him the story I had told each of the others about the gifts I brought them. And he listened as if my silly story were the most interesting thing he'd heard all day. I really, really love these kids.

But what amazes me the most is that, in all likelihood they were singing this in response to a request from one of the VIP ticket holders. And that means that they had no practice of it first, as there certainly would have been in the new live version. That they could do it at all on the spur of the moment seems just incredible to me. So glad you have not lessened your enthusiasm for this performance one single bit. They have indeed earned it.
