Viewers often tell me that they can’t make winding sticks. The project is just too hard, or they aren’t skilled enough. Most of these folks are actually too scared to even give it a try. Several of them have offered to pay me to make them a set.
There’s no need for that!
If you can saw and plane, then you can make a great set of winding sticks. You can use any wood and be done in half an hour. The sticks you make might last for years or you might replace them as your skill increase. Either way, you’ll have the pride of using a tool that you made.
This video was shot live in a single take, so I didn’t have a chance to put in Patron Tips, but we’ll get back to that soon.
