The Biggest Tool Sale in America?

Friends:

I just got back from the MWTCA National Meet in Erie, PA. It was an amazing experience. I've never seen so many tools in one place. I also got to meet MANY fascinating people and learn a ton about tool history.

And I brought a camera, so I get to bring you along. In this exclusive Patron video, I give you a tour of the whole event with a lot of fun little details. Even if you can't make it to an MWTCA meet, I think you'll get the flavor.

Also, since I made this video, I totally lost my voice, so I'm not sure what we're doing next week. No matter what, it will be interesting.

Happy Saturday!

Wow! We need a show/org like this in Portugal or Spain! Looks fun!

Well, that's good to know! Maybe it wasn't such a loss.

Seems like a fun event! Last one in my area was May 10, so I guess I just missed it! Regarding your haul, I have a 5 1/4 that I inherited from my grandfather and I love that thing. Probably a great bang for your buck if you're starting out and 5's are too expensive. I've not tried the Veritas power cutter, but if it's any consolation, I've tried the old school brace and bit style, and, uh, let's just say that cutting a tenon by shaving endgrain isn't really the easiest way to do it.
