If the game seems to be stuck and you're playing full screen or maximized. Shrink the screen back down to native resolution (1280x720). There's a problem in the game engine that makes it mix up the text layer when the game is displayed larger than native size. This makes the game get stuck because you can't click the text to advance the game. Shrinking the game screen down will bring the lost text boxes back in view. This is most likely to occur when there's animation playing.
Okay back to the good news.
This will complete the return to ship side of the adventure. The beach and the real objective remains ahead.

It sounds like the images are missing but should be impossible with the Off-line version. Maybe reinstall the game? If you want to connect in PM maybe you could send me a screen shot.
