Patreon Blows the Pooch
Added 2018-08-03 01:54:15 +0000 UTCIt seem the genius management at Patreon has decided to pull a real boner. They've switched to a new payment processing system that is causing about 25% of you to have your pledges to be marked as "Fraud" or "Suspicious" ... BULLSHIT.
In their infinite wisdom they think the best way to fix this is to dump it on you, the customers. Brilliant! They want me to contact each of you and ask you to fix it with your bank. Yeah they basically said fuck you to everybody.
I sure hope they save a lot on processing fees ... oh wait they pass those fees on to the creators so they won't save a dime ... well my pay out percentage didn't go up so I guess they just plan on pocketing the difference. I doubt that will cover the 25% or so of lost revenue from all the supporters they just pissed off.
While I look for another venue I'll still be here. For those of you who didn't get dumped by the idiots at Patreon thank you for your continued support.
I'll be sending out reminders so hopefully those of you who have been long time supporters don't miss any thing good.

Yeah I'm working on Natural Hookup. Patreon changed processing company. You many need to tell your credit card provider that the charge from Patreon is OK. A lot of them were declined because the processing company changed.
