Himbo Crossing (Process)

A couple months ago, I toyed with the idea of putting together a gaming pinup themed calendar, and then it became immediately clear that such a task would be way outside my budget and outside my ability in such a short amount of time. I’d like to do a 2024 calendar of some sort, but…for now, I’m digging into some of the cute concepts I came up with for individual pieces!
One of my favorites was my Animal Crossing-themed piece! Some dumb human idiot moves into a peaceful town of animals and falls into a pit while trying to catch a butterfly. What a dummy.
You can see it was planned for the month of March, as an homage to New Horizons’ release date right at the start of the pandemic in 2020. And you know, AC is such a March game!
All that’s left is to color this one. I’m really liking it so far and I hope you do too!
