WIP - Clamshell - Update 2

I went back to the drawing board on this piece. Or, the...painting board, I guess?? I was doing a more traditional digital-paint on this originally, but it wasn't coming along the way I wanted. I'm really out of practice with digital painting, and thought it might be best for now to go back and do my airbrushing method.
I wanted to add some more proper-looking muscles on the arms, which you can see roughed in, but I'm gonna soften that up a bit so he looks strong, but not like a body builder in the arms only and nowhere else, haha. It looks super weird right now! But that's okay, that's process for ya.
Usually I'd trying new things and exploring, but I'll be tabling at a little market here at the end of February (more details soon) and right now I'm favoring finished over explorative. I want to do the more painterly style again in the future but maybe on a smaller piece, and taking baby steps. For now, I'm liking how the airbrushed stuff is coming along and I think it's gonna look nice when it's all done!
