Essentially Great Sage didn't communicate w/ Rimuru for the first few months he was stuck in the cave, because GS was busy ripping off the sound-files from the Voice of the World, to be able to communicate w/ Rimuru, as it reasoned that if it just planted the info into Rimuru's mind, he'd be less likely to trust the data. So essentially the Voice of the World sounds exactly like Great Sage, because of it ripping off the sound-files from the "server" that is the Voice of the World

He created multiple lenses using his slime to focus sunlight into a fine laser, while controlling the angle and direction with the smaller orbs, that is burning through anything it hits
