323 - A Community of Professionals

PSD file for comic #323. Have fun. 95% of you will be disappointed there's nothing revealed under the clothing layer. 15% of you will do something about that.

I am no Photoshop master but after looking at both of the psd files that you have shared with us I’ve noticed a couple of things that you can do to make things a little easier on yourself. An example from comic 232 is that the two background images should be separate layers then you could put the black boarder on them by using, layer style &gt; stroke. Saves you from having to draw around other elements. It may sound counter intuitive but the more layers the better. I don’t know if you simplified the file for release but if you put each figure on their own layer it would make things easier to change if you got far into a strip and decided to redo things. I learned a lot about photoshop by watching Pixel Perfect with Burt Monroy (the true master of PS) on Rev3. (<a href="http://revision3.com/pixelperfect/)" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">http://revision3.com/pixelperfect/)</a> They haven’t made any new eps in several years but the basics still apply no matter what version of PS you are using.

Too true. lol

hahaha. I can only assume what people would possibly do with this.

"15% of you will do something about that." That sounds like a challenge.
