The jump between this and movie scenes was a little jarring- originally I thought it was a flashback. If I wanted to draw a connection, I'd say that all of Pumpkin's cosplay experience really helps out when she's trying to project different versions of herself to different people.

I feel more like she might be trying to identify as male for a bit to experiment with that. Or she's afraid that Quinn doesn't like that Pumpkin is only 15 and already has a massive bust and Quinn, who is probably at least 5 years older is relatively flat chested.

I'm of the thought that she doesn't want to accept the boobs, or what their status will bring to her because of them. She wants to be the person, in total, that is the reason why the person likes her.

How long has she been doing this? Her Rikku cosplay from the convention suggests that it must have been after that, but given how quickly she seemed to fill out, I wonder if she's been at it for a while, but only selectively. Perhaps while she's out with Ashlii and Bubbles but not with Quinn. Did something specific bring this on? Is it her discomfort with her breast size and the attention it's likely to bring? Is it to do with her feelings for Quinn? Does she have issues to sort through with gender identity as well as sexuality? Too many questions racing through my mind and too few answers. I eagerly await the next installment.

This is after the movies. There was no need to get hung up on it, and I did have one or two strips more to show of it, but for pacing sake I moved along. I may retcon them in later, because I still like them. But it wasn't worth lingering. Any point that needed to be made was made.

That's what I've heard/read as well, but she is using the bandage over another top, so that would conceivably allow for better distribution of pressure/clinging/stretching/whatever else is going on over there, and prevent some of the more unpleasant potential side effects of misusing said bandage. From what I recall, if you don't know what you're doing with it (so, practically everyone who hasn't been shown firsthand by someone who knows) then yeah, just an ace/whatever brand bandage is no good. It does look like it's more distributed than if it were just over the "problem area" which leads me to think Pumpkin actually does have an idea as to what she's doing. Plus, while safer, double sports-bra would be bulkier, and she does appear to be going for the covert approach. Huh, never would have thought I'd be talking about breast binding techniques online...every day something new.

Nope Nope Nope. Never use Ace Bandages to bind a good sports bra or two a lot more safer.
