It’s the perfect balance of intimacy and grand theatrics. Thematically, Kendrick sets up the vices and roots to suffering for the rest of the album. Performance wise he is absolutely killing it. The timing. The delivery. Everything. It’s the perfect execution of him @ the top of his game.
