They’re both similar in vibe but Donda is much more unique and bold imo. It’s more minimalist, but also more eerie, beautiful, haunting, and atmospheric. There’s a simplicity that is so confident. It’s also more cohesive. I personally think 21/23 of the core Donda tracks are amazing. There were some misses on Utopia. I really like Utopia, but a lot of it has too much of that typical trap sound in it, which makes it seem a *little* generic. Not hating, just challenging y’all to go listen to Donda again and see if you feel me on this. I really think Donda is going to age well and people will look back on it much differently.
