Book 11 and epilogue chapters

Hey I have been binge listening on audible and it's amazing... What are the chances book 11 will be up there in the next 25 hours 19 minutes. I don't want the story to stop. :)

I love how so many people are happy to pay months Patreon payment without any content, I’m the same way, another author I love had a heart attack a couple years ago and myself and many others increased our membership to support further. There is another good reason to leave it up. I initially tried to join during the month that you had shut it down and Patreon told me that you were not taking new subscribers, which gave me the impression that there should be a waitlist not that I should check back in a month. There wasn’t a clear way to find out when I could join.

Yeah personally I'd say leave it off cuz I've been like double build three times now lol, to be honest I'm even willing to go two or three months if you need a more lengthy break. It was nice getting a new chapter every week started reading your book on Royal roads after I had gone the first book as a gift from audible. And been in love with the story and characters ever since. Compared to other authors who pump out a book or two and then take years if not decades to finish the next in their series you taking a month break or two months break hell even if you took a full year off and we can go back to five chapters a week I wouldn't mind that because in comparison to other series I've read your release schedule in my opinion is only rivaled by the others doing lit RPG chapters and Brandon Sanderson doing full on books. If Mr Sanderson wrote his book says like weekly chapter releases he would still be doing six or seven different books a week that man is a monster it is frightening but I digress

Personal opinion... currently you put out 3 to 5x the number of chapters other authors I'm subscribed to... I say leave it up... I'm sure most of us won't complain paying a month of rest...

I’m glad you got your writing schedule sorted. There is a marked qualitative difference between rested shirt and burned out shirt! As far as Patreon, if you’re on break in April I’ll resub at lowest level and not worry about it that month. I’ll kick it back up at the end of April. We’re taking our family vacay in April too.

I love this idea!!! I was one of the winners for the Character cards and I love them!! Getting character sheets with their Race and powers from both Earth and Pallimustus would be great!!! I hope Shirt sees this. Keep the Patreon running and do something like this or just leave it running for the breaks and let people deal with their own finances.. either would work for me. But I hope he does character sheets Lol 😂 and maybe more cards in the future!!!

While you are at Disney you can stop by Kissimmee lakefront park one of the mornings to see some wild gators soaking up some sun. I think in April you might still see some wild manatees at blue springs state park, but that's a little further away. There's a lot of cheaper and more authentic stuff in the area, but traffic around the parks is pretty thick.

So glad to hear that the new schedule is working well for you. When I first found the series last year and I did the math on how much you were writing I was concerned for you. On a different note, I was really hoping for a heist arc. I think putting Belinda in her element might do a lot to smooth out some of her friction with the team (e.g. you can't go pulling petty stuff if you need to lay low before a job). I also just love the idea of a heist story with this team. Seems like that might not be in the cards with the time skip coming up, but I wanted to plant the seed for that in any case.

Could you perhaps slow down significantly, like do this month, one chapter per week? Then people are not completely without reward and not stopping billing or canceling/rejoining wouldnt be an issue? This of course means that there have to be 4 chapters prepared for that...

I hope Travis sees this, but I found on kindle unlimited, books 1-10 under the title JJason. It looked like it matched book one word for word and then at the end looked like maybe book 11 but I haven’t read that far yet. I reported as fraud/illegal content and reviewed it pointing to the real stuff. Just wanted to let him know someone is trying to collect his hard earned book money.

For your vacation instead of releasing chapters that month why don’t you just release character sheets for the main character? And some of the secondary characters. Even just a list of the known creatures in the cabal, and what they can do would be interesting Character name Age Description Known ess Wing might sword dragon No abilities Or abilities use so far in the series Maybe even background Where they were born parents name, siblings name I’m sure you have that information in some kind of series Bible I doubt you just keep it in your head That would be an interesting read for me at least
