How to install a mod for UE4/UE5 Game ?
Added 2023-01-01 14:35:49 +0000 UTCUE4/5 allows a simple way to replace files for modders. Here are the instructions you will need to use a PAK file mod :
If the pak file is compressed in a zip archive, you'll need to unzip it.
- find the game's install directory. On Steam, it can be reached by right-clicking on the game's name in your library and choosing the option "browse local files".
- Open the folder with a name like "SMG028" (not "Engine").
- Open the "Content" folder.
- Open the "Paks" folder.
- Place the .pak file from the mod in this folder.
- Launch the game and enjoy :)
