I've also used ChipQuik with great success! Just be sure to carefully clean the pads with fresh solder and lots of flux after (and alcohol to clean off the flux, of course).

2019-05-12 22:03:15 +0000 UTCHey Quinn. I've used a product called ChipQuik to remove 100 + pin micros. It looks like solder but behaves like lava. It stays molten much longer than solder. I use Kester solder paste (and a microscope!) to resolder parts. It's easier to control the amounts than stick solder. Good luck.
