A Note About iOS Pricing

Hey Patrons!

We've just been informed by Patreon that, starting in November, new memberships will be charged 30% more if you sign up through the iOS app. This is because Apple is enforcing their 30% subscription surcharge on Patreon now, which they had not done so previously.

THIS ONLY APPLIES TO NEW MEMBERSHIPS and only if you sign up THROUGH THE IOS APP.

I'm letting you all know because sometimes existing Patreons take a break and sign up again later, or sign up again to change payment details, that sort of thing. If you do so, make sure to sign up on the Patreon.com website on your computer or via the Android app. Don't sign up via the iOS Patreon App or you will pay 30% more for no reason.

If you are currently signed up via the app, that's okay. Only new memberships are affected. You can still use the iOS app normally regardless of how you signed up. This change only affects you if you sign up to support me via the app (which I don't think many people do, honestly).

So if you are currently reading this because you support me, you are NOT affected. However be aware of it if you decide to cancel and sign up again later, or change your subscription. Make sure to use the Patreon website to avoid the Apple tax.
