Can someone help me in spotting the 3rd Cow? I can't seem to reach the one behind the fence, just outside the house..

Okay, I updated the macOS links to a version that puts saves in your local app data. This should fix the problem for those of you unable to save under macOS.

Thank you! I think I'll issue a new mac version a bit later today that puts saves in your local app data (i.e., your user ~/Library) rather than the game package. I kinda wanted to do that anyway.

Sorry for the delay getting back to you......Yes that is what happens.

I know this is an issue with MV, but since it worked for me I thought I'd addressed it. There's a plugin I can use that sticks them in your user ~/Library rather than in the package (which is what seems to cause the issues); I can switch to that if it's a problem other Mac users are having.

I just tried it again and it works just fine for me. I'm using High Sierra too. Hm... Does it let you go to the save menu, and then make that buzzer sound when you try to save?

This could be my problem but it happens all the time with this game platform. Same thing with other games, not just yours. Other people have appreciated the work around because they have hit the same problem so for sure it is not just my problem.......maybe something in our settings?

Yes, it wouldn't save if I started from the icon, it started fine and played perfectly but wouldn't let me save the game.......I'm running high sierra 10.13.1

Did you run into problems saving with the macOS version? It seemed to work fine for me.

If you run into problems with saving in the Mac version there is a work around, but you can't use it if you are already playing. To start the game, right click on the game icon, left click on the folder, left click on the MAC OS folder and then run the file nwjs in terminal. If you do that you can save and the game runs fine. You can run the older pc versions on a mac by going into the www file and running the html file in firefox (safari doesn't work) The new mac version is easier though, thank you to Proxxie for making that available.

Is the game suppose to open up in a browser? Strange the first time it opened up in browser. I reloaded and now it is working right.

I put the old save folder in www folder

They should be stored in the save folder: www/save for Windows users. I was able to put saves in there okay. Is anyone else having this problem?

can one use the old saves. I copied the save file from 2.3 and the game didn't find it. Where are the saves stored?
